ethical influence

Achieve results by understanding
and adapting your style to the preferences
of key stakeholders

6-21 participants
One and a half days
The better we understand what others think and feel, the more we’ll be able to influence them.

We can’t “read people’s minds”. But we can observe, listen and ask powerful questions to understand their point of view. This way we can engage in meaningful conversations that generate a sense of ownership in others.

Participants will explore emotional intelligence as a powerful tool to build empathy and create trusting relationships. They’ll discover their preferred influencing style. And they’ll learn how to adapt their style to suit different stakeholders.

What will participants explore together?

Demystifying influencing
Why do we influence, and how do we do it? How do we navigate organisational politics?
Emotional intelligence and influencing skills
How can emotional intelligence make you a better influencer?
Developing empathy
Understanding what is in other people’s minds by asking good questions and listening actively and deeply.

Adapting your influencing style

Who are the key stakeholders you're trying to influence? How can you adapt your style to them?
